The Deal Society is a membership organisation so we need to hold information about our members and other people who are in contact with us. That information will depend on how you relate to us as described below.

Website

Data about access to pages on our websites is collected for statistical analysis. That data is anonymous so does not contain any personal data about you.

Social Media

If you choose to follow us, or otherwise interact with us on social media, the fact that you do so may appear in your profile – whether that is the case depends on your settings and which social media service you are using. We will never publicise the fact that you are following us.

Electronic Newsletter

You may subscribe to our e-mail newsletter by using the form on our website. Your details will be held by our mailing provider, Mailchimp, in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Your details will never be passed to any other organisation and we will not make public your subscription to our newsletter.

Membership

If you subscribe to our electronic newsletter you will have joined the Society and we will retain the information you give us for as long as you are a member. Details of members without access to the internet will be stored likewise.

Those details are held securely and only available to those Officers of the Society who need to access them. Your details will never be passed to any other organisation and we will not make public your membership of the Society.

Donations and other payments

If you make a payment to us through our website it will be processed by Paypal , in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Your card details will not be passed to us but they will pass other information you entered when paying, those details are held securely and only available to those Officers of the Society who need to access them.
