Dover District Council
Before the election, the majority party in the council was the Conservatives. The council has reduced from having 45 councillors to 32, the Conservatives have remained the majority party.The council comprises:

- 11 Labour
- 1 Labour and Co-operative
- 1 Independent

Deal Town Council
Before the election, the composition of the council was mixed. It remains that, with Labour as the majority party.

Walmer Parish Council
Although some councillors declare a party allegiance, the council has operated on a non party political basis.The council now comprises 14 councillors (with one vacancy):
