Dover District Council has launched a consultation to gather community views on parking provision in Deal, Dover and Sandwich.

The council has begun a process to update strategies for managing parking in Dover, Deal and Sandwich. The Council is gathering information to establish current levels of supply and demand, and is keen that residents have a chance to have their say on the provision of parking, as we plan for future growth.

The current parking strategies were completed in 2007 and parking needs have changed a great deal since then. The council aims to make parking across the district meet the needs of residents, visitors and local businesses and has appointed transportation consultants JMP to review the strategies.
